  2. i love the contrast in the color schemes and subjects-almost as if each one had a world of its own.

  3. Yes, good contrasting themes. In some stories the characters wonder at how nature marches on regardless of human conflict. Though Romans 8 talks about all creation suffering too. Hmm . . .

  4. Perhaps they ascribe the marching on to a too limited sphere? When one person undergoes a calamity, others, unfamiliar to them carry on with their own lives with no regard for the hurting person. It is natural then, to worry about ones own suffering and very rarely that of others.
